SMOKY QUARTZ on BARITE

Small cabinet 1.4" (3.4 cm) L x 1.25" (3.2 cm) W x 2.5" (6.3 cm) H. Beta quartz stalactite on slender barite needles. Specimen has slight chalcedony overgrowth. Specimen is from Buck's Pocket, Cripple Creek, Teller County, Colorado. Featured on PROSPECTORS.  This area is no longer accessible.
