Pinnacle 5 Minerals LLC Returns Policy

We accept refunds and exchanges. We also allow trade-ups on certain mineral specimens.


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be undamaged and in the same condition that you received it in. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed within 10 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 10 business days, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at:

Trade-Ups (Applies to mined specimens only)

As long as we are mining and producing new mineral specimens, you are allowed to trade up those specimens which you have purchased from us (not from other third-parties) for a higher valued specimen. The specimen must be in the condition in which you received it (no additional damage). You should provide your receipt. Your purchase price will be applied to the trade up.  (We do keep a copy of your receipt, especially for trade-ups and will use it, but it is best if you have your receipt because it eliminates questions.) Generally trade-up specimens are valued at $1,000 or more and are one for one. We have a photograph record of these pieces, and they will have a number on the bottom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it will take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping item(s) over $75, you will need to provide a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it is not trackable and insured.
