Specimen is a 1.25" (3 cm) cube almost equal on each side with a small portion of amazonite and some micro xenotime (YPO4) crystals up to 1mm.  Miniature. This piece is from the South End Pocket near the terminus of the Smoky Hawk pegmatite swarm, Smoky Hawk Mine, Florissant, Teller County, Colorado. The fluorite is lustrous and shows shifting bluish and lavender colors, sometimes with a hit of green amazonite showing through. NOTE: This specimen was photographed with diode lighting and thus appears green. Incandescent lighting reveals the blue color.
