FLUORITE on SMOKY QUARTZ

Cabinet size 2.5" (6.4 cm) L x 2.25" (5.7 cm) W x 2" (5 cm) T with smoky quartz 2.75" (7 cm). Unusual and uncommon fluorite on smoky quartz from Site D, Smoky Hawk Mine, Florissant, Teller County, Colorado. This piece was recovered during the filming of PROSPECTORS. Site D is now reclaimed and produced some of our best smoky quartz with fluorite specimens to date. These fluorites are penetration twins on the side of a nice blocky smoky quartz crystal. There is attractive yellowish clay phantoms in the fluorite, most of which is otherwise lavender color with some blue.
