U.S. Minerals other than Colorado: Most of these specimens come from the miners either through trading with them or through purchase. We also acquire old collections. A good number also come from our own field collecting over the years, particularly those from Idaho and New Mexico. Where possible, we have indicated the source collection or miner. The best place to see our large U.S. collection is at gem and mineral shows, but for those of you who can’t attend, we will keep a selection of more interesting or difficult to obtain pieces on these pages. If you’re looking for something in particular, please ask. We might have it hiding.
